Euromac and Lantek have chosen a third option. Creating it. 

At our meeting at Lantek’s Bilbao headquarters on 25 January, we shared the successes of a partnership that has lasted more than 20 years and we laid the foundations for its future. 

Euromac and Lantek: Partners in Innovation 

Since our establishment, we at Euromac have always believed in continuous improvement. This is a commitment — to our customers and to ourselves — to create increasingly efficient and versatile sheet metal processing solutions. 

So it is no coincidence that collaboration with Lantek, a company that shares these same principles, formed and evolved almost spontaneously. 

Together with Lantek, we have chosen to tackle the technological challenges of automation. 

Innovative Machines and Advanced Software: The Ingredients of Automation 

Innovation almost always proceeds incrementally. 

Small steps, speeds that increase by a few percentage points, a new option that simplifies a particular process … 

But sometimes, paradigm shifts occur and innovation becomes a revolution. This is what happened with the arrival of automation in the world of sheet metal processing. 

There was a shift from tools that increased the number of parts machined by a worker to systems capable of working in full autonomy. Productivity no longer increased linearly, but exponentially. 

Automation led to the creation of an entirely new generation of machines for processing sheet metal. Programmable tools, robots, automatic belts … 

And this new complexity led to the need for a different type of software that could manage the robotic machines while simplifying job scheduling as much as possible. 

Our 20-year collaboration with Lantek has resulted in the software that makes our automatic sheet metal processing solutions possible. 

Supporting the Future 

Technological innovation is not a destination, but an endless journey. And it is a journey that we at Euromac aim to take together with Lantek. 

Our future plans cover both major software improvements to our current punching and bending machines and all-new solutions that we will be presenting in the coming months.
